Morris Law acted as legal advisor to the sellers of Friggeråkers Verkstäder in connection with the sale of the company to Lagercrantz Group.


We at Morris Law are proud to have advised the sellers of Friggeråkers Verkstäder Aktiebolag on the transfer of all shares in the company to the publicly listed Lagercrantz Group AB.

Friggeråkers Verkstäder was founded in 1937 and has for many years been a trusted supplier in Sweden and Norway of high-quality equipment for winter road maintenance. The product range spans from simple hand-operated sand spreaders to advanced GPS-controlled sand and salt spreaders. The company’s customers include road contractors, municipalities, and airports.

Lagercrantz Group is a technology group offering value-creating technology, either through its own products or products from leading suppliers. The group consists of around 85 companies, each focused on a specific niche market. Through the acquisition, Friggeråkers Verkstäder will become part of Lagercrantz’s International division.

The Morris Law team primarily consisted of Carl Friberg, Jesper Almqvist, and Axel Fahlgren.

Morris Law and Litigium Capital enter into collaboration agreement for financing of disputes

Morris Law has entered into a collaboration agreement with legal financing company Litigium Capital for the financing of disputes. The agreement, likely the first of its kind in the Nordic region, means that Litigium Capital will invest in a portfolio of disputes managed by Morris Law on full or partial contingency (under a success-based fee model).
