According to the McKinsey Health Institute, the global economy could grow by approximately USD 1 trillion per year by 2040 if the health gap between women and men is narrowed. The health gap refers to the fact that women, on average, live longer than men but spend more years of their lives in poor health and with illness.
Is women's health one of the most overlooked business opportunities of our time? And what does it take for more innovations to get the chance to grow? Even though the solutions affect half the world's population, research, investment and innovation have long lagged behind. At the same time, opportunities are emerging for those who dare to think differently.
That is why we are joining Daya Ventures' accelerator programme as legal partner.
Daya Ventures is a Gothenburg-based venture studio that identifies needs within women's health and helps entrepreneurs build new companies to meet them. Through its accelerator programme, participants gain access to advisory support, investor networks and specialist expertise to help them grow faster. As legal partner, Morris Law will support the companies in the programme with legal and commercial advice, from corporate structure and investments to agreements and growth-related matters.
We look forward to following the entrepreneurs in the programme and contributing what we do best as new ideas become companies.
