Morris Law acted as legal advisor and assisted Sweden Timber in the acquisition of all shares in Aspa pulp mill from Ahlstrom


Aspa pulp mill produces bleached and unbleached long-fiber sulfate pulp. The pulp produced at Aspa is of the highest quality and is sold worldwide for a variety of applications. Aspa has a production capacity of 200,000 tons and employs 174 people.Sweden

Timber is a Swedish-owned wood and paper manufacturer with production facilities in southern Sweden. Sweden Timber manufactures sustainable paper products, sawn and planed timber, as well as bio-composite granules where wood replaces plastic.

The acquisition of Aspa is a further step in Sweden Timber’s strategy to continue growing and developing the company. Through this acquisition, Sweden Timber expands its existing product portfolio of paper, timber, and wood fiber composites with pulp products.Morris Law is proud to have had the opportunity to assist Sweden Timber in this transaction.

Morris Law and Litigium Capital enter into collaboration agreement for financing of disputes

Morris Law has entered into a collaboration agreement with legal financing company Litigium Capital for the financing of disputes. The agreement, likely the first of its kind in the Nordic region, means that Litigium Capital will invest in a portfolio of disputes managed by Morris Law on full or partial contingency (under a success-based fee model).
