Morris Law acted as legal advisor to the sellers of the Swedish software company Programekonomi in connection with its sale to Norwegian-based Aritma.

Through the acquisition, Aritma strengthens its position within Microsoft’s ERP system Dynamics 365 Business Central in the Nordic region and continues to expand its platform for bank integration and automation of financial processes. Aritma is owned by the Dutch private equity firm Main Capital.

Programekonomi is the company behind Swebase, one of Sweden’s most widely used add-on solutions for Business Central – Microsoft’s cloud-based ERP solution for medium-sized companies.

“We are used to running companies, but not to selling them. We are very pleased with the fast, efficient and professional support we received from Morris Law – both in handling complex matters and in driving the transaction to completion,” says Nils Elf, CEO and one of the sellers of Programekonomi.

The Morris Law team primarily consisted of Olof Myhrman (M&A), Robert Starck (Tax), and Kalle Lind Ericson (M&A).
