Morris acted as legal advisor to the sellers of Stockholms Hiss-service AB in connection with the sale of the company to Ascenco Group.

We at Morris are pleased to have served as legal advisors to the sellers of Stockholms Hiss-service AB in connection with the acquisition of all shares in the Stockholm-based elevator company by Ascenco Group, backed by MVI.

Founded in 2009, Stockholms Hiss-service AB is an owner-led company working with all types of passenger, combination, and goods elevators, as well as related contracting services. The company offers a complete range of services within new installation, modernization, and repair. Its customers include housing cooperatives, public and private property owners, and construction contractors. The company also has its own metal workshop for steel and welding work.

The buyer, Ascenco Group, is a specialized group of companies operating in services for critical infrastructure, such as elevators, gates, and escalators. With this acquisition, Ascenco Group strengthens its position in the Stockholm area. The company will continue its operations as before under the leadership of founders Håkan Johansson and Stefan Rudberg, now with additional support from the collective expertise within Ascenco Group.

“We are very pleased with our choice of Morris Law as legal advisor. They have been attentive and safeguarded our interests, which gave us a sense of security throughout the entire sales process,” say Håkan Johansson and Stefan Rudberg, founders of Stockholms Hiss-service.

The Morris team consisted primarily of Carl Friberg, Jesper Almqvist, and Axel Fahlgren.

As a result, many companies choose to abandon even well-founded claims. Through our collaboration with Litigium Capital, we offer flexible pricing models that make it possible to pursue legal proceedings without bearing the full cost yourself. You retain control of the process – we share the risk.
