Morris Law has advised an international group of sellers in connection with the sale of the Swedish company Loop Tackle to U.S.-based Cox Enterprises. The acquisition marks an international leap for a brand with a strong focus on sustainability and a long-standing heritage in fly fishing.

Loop Tackle was founded in Sweden in 1979 and is globally recognized for its high-quality products and commitment to conservation. Through innovation, functionality, and passion, the company has become a leading name in sport fishing equipment – with a philosophy that combines technical excellence with environmental awareness.

The buyer, Cox Enterprises, is a family-owned American company headquartered in Atlanta, active in broadband, media, and investments in future-oriented technologies. The company has annual revenues of USD 23 billion and has invested more than USD 2 billion in sustainable initiatives since 2007.

The acquisition provides Loop Tackle with access to new global opportunities and strengthens Cox Enterprises’ position within sustainable consumption and outdoor lifestyle. Morris Law’s team, led primarily by Racine Ashjari and Gustav Thorslund, supported the sellers throughout the entire process – from deal structure to negotiation and final agreements.
